Ankita was born in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The tennis player’s father’s name is Ravindrakrishnan, who is of Kashmiri origin. While his mother has also been a tennis player. Career

Ankita Raina started playing tennis at a very young age. She had won many state level competitions, after which at the age of just 8, she defeated a 14-year-old player from Maharashtra during a talent hunt tournament organized by the All India Tennis Association.

Since then, he thought of improving his game even more. And his parents took him to Pune for training in the year 2007 where he started taking training from coach Hemant Bendre.
