Manika Batra was born on 15 June 1995 in New Delhi, the capital of the country. Table tennis player Manika Batra’s age is 26 years. They are three siblings out of which Manika is third. Manika Batra’s family is a resident of Narayan Vihar Delhi. She was very fond of table tennis since childhood. for this reason she started taking table tennis training since childhood. Manika’s sister and brother are both table tennis players and Manika was also fond of table tennis.

Manika Batra, who took table tennis training from the age of just 4, won the Under-8 competition at the state level. After that victory, Manika started taking training from Sandeep Gupta. She did her early education from Hansraj Model School.

Manika Batra started getting many offers related to modeling during her teenage years. but she turned them all down and focused on her career. When she was 16 years old, Manika did not even refuse the scholarship. she got for training at Peter Carlsen Academy in Sweden.

After which Manika Batra studied for a year from Jesus and Mary College and started playing table tennis. In the year 2011, Manika won a silver medal in Under-21 at the Chile Open.

After which he also represented the country during the 2014 Commonwealth Games and Asian Games. During this, he made his place in the quarterfinals.

In the year 2015, Manika performed her brilliant game in the Commonwealth Table Tennis Championship and won three medals. In this round, Manika won the silver medal with Ankita Das and Mouma Das and after that she made her name by winning the bronze medal with Ankita Das.

During the year 2016, she won three gold medals in the women’s doubles event of the South Asian Games along with Mouma Das, Shamini Kumaresan, Pooja Sahasrabuddhe and Anthony Amalraj. After this, during the same year, he also made his place in the Summer Olympics.

In the 2018 Commonwealth Games held in Goldcast, Australia, under the leadership of Manika Batra, the women’s table tennis team defeated Singapore and won the Gold Medal. This was a historic moment because the Singapore team had never lost since table tennis was added to the Commonwealth Games.
